MLY v. MVWL "The Mother of all Wiffleball Series!" (08 update soon)

2007 will mark the eighth consecutive year that members of Major League Yardball and the Matt Velez Wiffleball League will take the field and conduct a best of seven series.  Throughout the previous seven years, the series has been more competitive and lived up to more hype then any wiffleball game in the country.  You can basically call this the "mother of all wiffleball series!"  Check back here as more stats and other useless info will be added as it is collected. If you have any information, find an error or a useless fact of your own, please post it in our message board and we will gladly use it and take credit for it.

The first game of this series was played on Wednesday, August 23, 2000 at Ullom Field in Wheeling, WV.  The first pitch was thrown by Mike McNeil to Andy Taylor (the pitch was fouled off to LF).  Since that day several thousand pitches have been thrown with hundreds fouled off. Here you can take a trip down memory lane and take a gander at all there is to know about the MLY/MVWL Wiffleball Series... enjoy!
